NYC FIELD TRIPS Improv Comedy Musical Theater, Times Square NYC

Bring your students to the Broadway Comedy Club for some hilarious interactive musical comedy improvised based on audience suggestions and participation.

The story telling is on fire when your students share their favorite book, movie, song and TV titles and more. Our talented singer – actor – comics create original never before heard or scene skits and songs right on the spot.

Our guiding principles:

• HAVE FUN but never at another’s expense!
• YES AND… Accept and support your team, which the entire audience a part of the show time, and then bring your best work to the table.
• LISTEN! Listening with your eyes. Listening with the willingness to change.

Improv 4 Kids (& Teens) is:

• CULTURAL ARTS. Music, theater and more (sometimes some.dance too, spoken words, etc) on full display by paid professional working artists with a variety of STAGE & SCREEN credits. For many NYC students, Improv 4 Kids is their first real live theatrical experience. For numerous student groups from around the world, our i.prov shows are alternatives to a 2nd or 3rd Broadway or Off Broadway show.
• LANGUAGE ARTS, improv is story telling. We inspire creativity and critical thinking, brainstorming ideas for stories, characters, setting, and plots. We deconstruct literature, simultaneously inspiring literacy. We regularly participate with reading programs at Libraries, PARP (Parents as reading partners) and other programs.
• CHARACTER BUILDING, we regularly partner with guidance counselors, anti-bully, SEL, mentoring and other community and leadership programs. We use similar shows and workshops to train corporate groups team building, leadership, sales and customer service.
