2024 k-5 Summer Reading Program: June  21 – August 16 Children’s Programs will be  listed on the Summer Reading page which will open on June 1! 
​Programs already listed on the calendar during this period will have registrations open on June 1.

The Westwood Library’s Summer Reading program will kick off on Friday, June 21 at 11:30am with an improv program that will be fun for the whole family.  Each child registered for summer reading will receive a summer reading kit which will include a  “little” reading buddy and other goodies, plus a log sheet to keep of reading time.  Registered kids can pick up their summer kits at the kick off event on June 21 or anytime after.  Throughout the summer, kids can pick a prize  every time they visit the library and show on their log sheets two hours of reading completed.  In addition, kids will have opportunities to earn raffle tickets for a chance at bigger prizes. 

 Please register children for summer reading anytime starting today.   The registration for all of our programs held in the summer will be turned on June 1.
