But, while our home theater is in Times Square NYC, where we host k12 schools groups almost daily for field trips, our company is official based in North Bergen New Jersey. Since 2003, when a Farmington, CT school first commissioned our company, EIGHT IS NEVER ENOUGH Improv, we rose to the occasion.

“Sure”
20 years, and 7000+ shows later, Improv 4 Kids is a much sought after show for schools, camps, community centers and family events. Every show features out MC, your host for the show, warming up the crowd and introducing Improvisation. Then every 4-5 minutes the MC interacts directly with the crowd, asking for suggestions to start the next skit or song. Then we alternate musical numbers and interactive games based on these suggestions. Many include audience volunteers – your students/children – invited on stage to steer the musical comedy pros.
Most school shows run 45 minutes. For PTA nights / family events, 60-75 minutes and we can add an intermission to allow consession salss or other fundraising elements. Our MC can even help with raffles.
Show are great on a stage but can happen anywhere. In fact, even at schools with a stage, we often play on the gym/auditorium floor to offwr a more intimate experience for the students.
Sound and light needs are very simple. We only need major sound support for shows with 200+ crowds or outdoor events.
WORKSHOPS, RESIDENCIES AND PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT
Beyond the cultural arts experience, delivering theater and music, even some dance at times, combining with a workshop elevates the educational value exponentially.
