Since 2011 we have been delivering the laughs, having a ton of fun playing improv games and crafting original sketch and stand-up comedy routines all while developing valuable life skills. The fun continues starting June 24, 2024.
We will have ten weeks of camp this year. While most students join us for two to four weeks, every week is a self contained unit with a weekly showcase.
Monday thru Friday parents can drop off as early as 8:45am. Sel reporting teens should be in by 9:15am. By 9:30am we start warming up our individual and team focus, mental agility and basic skills.
Most mornings focus on Improv games. Everything in Improv is a game, from the ice breakers, to the technique builders to the performance skits and songs. Every session is a master class including all of the above.
After lunch is focused on turning personal stories of experience and observation into original comedy routines, bot stand-up and sketch comedy. The rest of the day is mock performance, running games we might at the weekly showcase.
Fridays is all about putting on a show. That morning, after warm ups, we stage a mock show, a dress rehearsal of sorts. After lunch we invite friends and family to watch our weekly showcase. It is encouraged to video your camper playing imprpv games and performing stand up comedy. Feel free to post online and share with friends and family.
TEEN TERNS (Our CITs)
Many of our teens have been students since they were kids. We invite them to be TEEN TERNS. There is a discounted fee to participate and additional training, performance opportunities, leadership experience and more.
JOBS AT CAMP
All of our teachers and counselors are current performers with the professional company. Many are former students and camp attendees.
